Mazda's excellent SkyActiv diesel technology was supposed to arrive
stateside at some point this spring, but today, Mazda announced that we
won't see the oil burners until later this year. The official word is
that the company still has some work to do in order to "deliver the
right balance between fuel economy and Mazda-appropriate driving
performance.
