There are many
movies that will be targeting the little adults this year. Most of them
are animated and are sequels of the movies made in the past. The theme
to stay dominant this year is action and a little hint of drama. Here is
the list of the top 10.
1. Escape from Planet Earth
What happens when a few blue aliens are led by their hero in an
action packed tale of a narrow escape. This is one movie that kids must
not miss. It will feature the voice of Brandon Frasor as the lead
character Scorch Supernova from planet Blaab. If you believe that aliens
are not all about destroying planet earth, then watch this movie.
2. The Croods
trying to find the solution to the biggest issue of the Croodacian
age, a family is out on a hunt for a new home. This caveman family is
pretty adorable and the kids would certainly love the weird creatures
that come along from that era. The movie features the voice Nicolas Cage
and Emma Stone.
3. The Epic
This is another animated movie for the children that takes them on
another action plot in a fantasy world. Featuring the voice of Beyonce
Knowles, a teen girl somehow enters the world of teeny meeny creatures
which is about to be destroyed. How will she face the wrath and how will
she save their world is the story of the movie. It is made by twentieth
Century Fox.
4. Monsters University
holla! Hold back. You thought monsters were illiterate? Grave mistake
my friend. They are literate people and they even attend a university
to learn their alphabets. What all happens in this university and who
all get to graduate can be seen in this epic plot. Don’t miss this movie
at any cost.
5. The Smurfs 2
the notorious Gargamel has made Hackus and Vexy, the evil version of
the Smurfs. He has also kidnapped Smurfette so her powers can be
transferred to the new bad smurfs. The whole smurfs family is now on a
quest to find her and destroy the plan the Gargamel. The second
installment of the trilogy is going to be quite an adventure. If you
loved the first part (which everybody does) you must not miss this movie
arriving in July.
6. Despicable Me 2
Yeah, it is another animated movie and it’s another sequel. With
Russell Brand and Steve Caroll giving voices to Dr. Nefarious and Gru
respectively. They are funny and they are eerie. Plus, you will never
get a chance to bat an eyelash with these wonderful minions in your
sight. They are under trouble and you are under a magic potion to laugh.
7. Cloudy With A Chance of Meatball 2
Do you remember how last time it started raining food? Well, they
have now mutated into weird creatures and they are up for destroying the
world. Flint will now have to return to save the world and bring back
his lost glory. Is this superhuman? Well, when it’s the fight with food,
it certainly is. Don’t miss it!
8. Frozen
Another one from Disney’s 2013 platter, Frozen is based on the life
and adventures of Anna who has been cursed by her sister. She has to now
take refuge in the mercy of the Snow Queen, who can possibly reverse
the curse. She has to go through a very uncomfortable journey across the
frozen land along with a Kristoff, a jerk but an outdoorsy Disney guy
to reach the Snow Queen. She fights the climate, the time and even a
whole army of frozen warriors. Will this Disney Princess survive? Watch
out in Frozen releasing in November 2013.
9. Leo the Lion
finally a movie that has animated characters that we already know
about. However, this time, there is a twist. Leo is very cute lion but
is almost abandoned from his pride because he is a vegetarian (yes, he
is a vegetarian lion, veg-eat-arian). The movie is about his journey,
his choices and his life. The character is so cute and different that
can’t do anything except loving him to the core.
10. Oz The Great And Powerful
Here comes the Wizard of Oz and his story of becoming the marvelous
Wizard from an ordinary illusionist. This Kansas based magician lands up
in the land of Oz where he has to prove his mastery on the skills of
Wizardry and also be the savior of the people of Oz. The wizard is
actually.
