Whether you are looking for a new career that makes great money or you are simply curious to see how much your income truly sucks, the top 10 highest paying jobs in 2014 should give you a little bit to think about. We all know that the medical field, regardless of your area of expertise, is the highest paying jobs in the world. This list does not dwell on that fact. It will tell you what could bring you some decent cash, without the extensive college expenses, as well.

1. Anesthesiologist

Anesthesiologist

Everyone knows that doctors make the most money. All types of doctors make excellent money so if you have the money to invest in medical school, you should try it if you want to make the big bucks. The thing that surprised most is the fact that anesthesiologists are the highest paid people in the medical field. It takes a lot of schooling to learn how to effectively numb someone for surgery or other things. You can expect to spend at least 11 years in school. However, they make more than most doctors and bring home an annual amount of roughly $234,950.
There are many other jobs that did not make it into the top 10 highest paying jobs in 2014 list, but this should give you a basic idea of what kind of job you should be doing if you want to make good money.
